Why sign all these players for 3+ years at 5 mil and have them on the same team, How would all these players get minutes and retain there value, since if they aren't going to get minutes there production will not show there true value

My theory is that Danny Ainge had in mind that he will Parlay some of these players , possibly use them as trade chips , but obviously some of the players values aren't so good right now, Like Terry who is old and making 5 mil for 3 years, and Lee who has played Ok but inconsistent and is signed for 5 mil for 4 years

Avery is the only one of those players who has value , but a lot of fans don't want to see him traded and Ainge may feel that way also because of his defense, youth and contract

but hes the most tradeable asset of the sgs that he shored up at and probably the most valuable piece of the whole team trade wise
