Yesterday, Doc Rivers suggested that Keyon Dooling could make a return to the team, but later, Danny Ainge denied that report. Via Twitter, KD confirms that a comeback isn't in the cards.

The Reverend is a class act and I'm happy that even though he won't be making a return to the court, he's still a big part of the Celtics organization working in player development. Realistically with four guards ahead of him on the depth chart, Dooling's biggest impact would have been in the locker room and I'm sure we'll hear from him down the road giving the team a pep talk or guiding one of the younger players later in the year.
