Is Doc Rivers Too Much of a Players - Coach?

Over the last couple of years we've seen players come and go and whether the team was successful or not, they have all had nothing but great things to say about Doc and his ability to bring a team together. There are times though where his players make clear mistakes (stars or not) and you will see them as they head to the bench get a few words from Doc, a pat on the backside, then they'll just sit down. I've seen many times in San Antonio where Gregg Popovich is chewying out even his star players in many situations and while it many seem shocking to us fans watching, the Spurs are one of the best team throughout the season almost every year. Now I can understand if Doc doesn't want to be like that with his veterans, but one guy who the Celtics organization has clearly invested a lot in is Jeff Green who is under preforming tremendously. I feel that Doc needs to get on him much more, but doesn't want to get on the bad side of Jeff or any of his players. Sometimes maybe it would help getting on your team in certain situations a little bit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKrgsar_STg
