BOSTON – Tuesday night was the national television debut for many promising NCAA basketball stars like Andrew Wiggins, Jabari Parker and Julius Randle, but Brad Stevens was just about the only person in the NBA world not watching. When asked about his thoughts on the aforementioned players, Stevens quickly and politely refused to talk about it. No word from Danny Ainge, but he might crack a smile and daydream off into the distance before issuing a no comment.
The Garden Report also caught up with former Celtics star Al Jefferson before the game to talk about how weird it is returning to Boston without Paul Pierce and Doc Rivers and the perils of trying to tank for a high pick.
