Nets are tanking.

Well, maybe not on purpose, but they sure are sucking right now. 2 and 5 after last night's loss. If they can keep this up, we might get a better pick from Brooklynn than the Celtics' own pick. Needless to say, that makes me happy.

It should also make all Celtics fans happy. I know many of us might think it's an insult to PP and KG to want their new team to lose, but their losses are the celtics's gain.

Obviously, the worse the Nets' record, the higher pick Boston gets.

i expect the nets to improve on their current 2 and 5 pace, but I also expect them to be a huge disappointment and not really figure into title contention. I'm predicting them to be somewhere over .500, and that should get us a pick somewhere just out of the lottery.

That will be a surprisingly high pick when you remember that many put the Nets near the top of the eastern conference after this trade happened.
