Are the celtics a playoff team this year

Looking at the eastern conferenc table I think the celtics are a playoff team and with Rondo back they are the 3rd team in the east, but the gap beetween miami, indiana and them is very big. With RR back they are better than Atlanta, Toronto, Chicago -Rose, Charlote and Washington (all play off teams right now). Think brooklin and knicks have a chance to be playoff teems by the end of the year but very hard.

As much as i loved tanking at the begining it will be very hard to get a very high pick with the amount of the teems at the east tanking for it. The best thing for the celtics is to make the playoffs (i know that they can not contend this year against miami and indiana) but they can get a great playoff expirience (sully, Kelly,Vitor, Bradely Green etc).

I know a top 3 pick if we get can bring us a good player but it doesnt garantee us that we will be contending right away, dont think rondo and green can wait three more years to contend. Lets screw the tanking, we have got :

Al jefferson 2004 15th pick

Tony allen 2004 25th pick

Rajon Rondo 2006 21th pick

Avery Bradley 2010 19th pick

Jared Sullinger 2012 21th pick

Kelly Olynik 2013 16th pick (traded with 13th)

I belive that we have the best draft picking menagere in Ainge, I am sure he will get us great players with picks from 15th to 25th.

All we need is one or two star players, we have the assets and the picks to get them. I am thinking the easiest one is Greg Monroe, the big three is not working in detroit. If we can get him this year like this (Humphries 2 first rounds for Monroe and villanueva, Monroe is expiering after this year and they can loose him for free, two first rounder would get him) Rajon rondo coimng back as Rajon we can upset a lot of teams in the play off. I like the team of :

the bench Kelly, Crawford, Vitor Bass Wallace, Lee etc.
