Pierce could play Tuesday against the #celtics after practicing today— gary washburn (@GwashburnGlobe) December 9, 2013
He's less than two weeks removed from breaking his hand, but if we know anything about Paul Pierce, it's that he's a gamer.
Can't believe that Pierce would actually play so shortly (10 days) after breaking his hand. But he's done this sort of thing before.— Mark Murphy (@Murf56) December 9, 2013
Re Pierce: Once had dental surgery day after Amare Stoudemire knocked him teeth-first into floor, and played a full game the next day.— Mark Murphy (@Murf56) December 9, 2013
Pierce said wrist "felt good." Called pain tolerable and said there's "a good chance" he plays tomorrow.— Jay King (@ByJayKing) December 9, 2013
It'll be nice to see PP suit up, but I'd be lying if I didn't say that I wanted the team to cross the Brooklyn Bridge and lay down another beat down. Pierce doesn't see emotional about playing against his former team, but his return on January 26th will surely be a tearjerker.
