Keep calm and carry on.
The Celtics turned in a very strong, all around effort to defeat the down and out Orlando Magic, extending Boston's win streak to 3.
It was a dunk-fest for Jeff Green, who got to the rim a lot and finished with a team high 17 points. It was great to see him aggressive and effective out there. I'm really starting to appreciate the one-on-one defense he brings to the table as well. He can be a game changer on that side of the floor.
6 players got into double figures but the best stat was keeping KG and Pierce's minutes down after a long week that featured a couple of double overtime games. In general the second unit really carried their share of the load tonight.
The Magic made it interesting for a stretch in the 3rd but some solid play from the Celtics stretched the lead well beyond reach in the fourth, which allowed Fab Melo to make his first appearance of the year (with a little over 2 minutes left). Based on his reputation alone I half expected to see him block every shot (or at least try to) but he wasn't very effective and didn't manage to corral his only chance at a rebound.
A nice solid win for a team that could use some nice solid wins.
