Where is Rondo?

I may have missed something in all the coverage of the streak, but has anyone seen or heard from Rondo since the injury?

Is it strange that he hasn't made a bench appearance a la Chauncey Billups or Chris Paul since he went down with the ACL? I don't know the protocol here... maybe it's expected for a recently injured star -- who has effectively seen his best career season terminated -- take some time off from the game. But all things considered, part of me wishes he was willing to forego that and make his presence felt on the bench, when his team is dipping into the heroic elements to get them out of the hole they dug for the first forty games of the season.

I love Rajon Rondo. My British wife, who never watched a game in her life before the 2010 season, loves Rondo. But part of me also has this sense that he is probably in a major sulk and unable to support this resurgence in a fully integrated way... meaning, as a cheerleading floor general, in a nice Prada suit.

I know this team has been welded together through their dramatic journey thus far, and they are all pros. So wherever Rondo is, they are feeling the love and in many ways, working harder for his legacy. But what is the consensus around his total absence since the final minutes of the Miami game, when we saw his puffy eyed and crestfallen face in the stands for the win?

Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.
