Is Jonny Flynn worth a look? He played very well with his time on the Minnesota Timberwolves, but seemed to quietly disappear. He's only 24 years old and is a free agent. With all the recent injuries, I feel it's time to break this team up. I a a huge Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce fan, but this team is not making it to the finals. Everyone has to start realizing this team cannot beat the Heat and the Chicago Bulls with or without Derrick Rose. If the Celtics don't win a championship, the Celtics organizations knows this season was a failure. I was for signing Flynn before the Rondo, Sully, and Barbosa injuries appeared. Overall, I think the Celtics should sit Pierce and Garnett down and discuss moving them and potentially receiving a young core to build around.
But anyways, getting back to my original topic, I think the C's should sign Jonny Flynn. Not Delonte West (head case) or Allen Iverson...just stop. Stop with the ludicrous Iverson talk. The guy is retired, old, and regardless if he can still play, his is an absolute punk.
So what does everyone think? Give Jonny Flynn as shot? I think the number six pick in the NBA draft is worth a shot.
