Leandro Barbosa's Celtics career may not be over after all.
One note after talking to Danny Ainge: C’s want to bring back Leandro Barbosa next season. He’ll undergo surgery after MCL sprain heals.

Barbosa will wait a month to let MCL sprain heal before having his ACL surgery, but if no further damage, projects at 6-9 month recovery.

Interesting tidbit from Danny Ainge here. There's some thought that Ainge could include Barbosa's expiring contract in a trade or waive him in order to open up a roster spot, but that could preclude him from returning to Boston next season under the current CBA. However, if Barbosa's recovery is on the long side of 6-9 months, he could be a mid-season addition in 2014. I'll have to brush up on Larry Coon's CBA FAQ, but it's good to hear that the Blur's career could potentially continue in Celtic green.
