Sam Amico of Fox Sports is reporting that if Garnett is traded to the Clippers for Bledsoe and Jordan, the Celtics will quickly move to deal Paul Pierce as well.
Here's the link. It's a short blip in the article, but that speculation makes sense. Garnett is as loyal as they come and there's no way he'd leave Pierce in Boston unless he knew that Pierce was moving, too. It's late on All Star Friday night and both stories are pretty fluid right now, but clearly, where there's smoke, there's fire.
The only thing that could make this night more interesting is if Michael Jordan announces that he's making his comeback with the Celtics.
