We all know Danny tends to feel the need to make interesting trades on the day of the deadline. Thanks to Danny we still don't have a legitimate center. But this year, I think he knows that if he trades Pierce and KG that's our season. We cannot get back equal value for Pierce or KG, and that's final, Danny may think we can, but we can't. The Celtics will get the best value for them, by just keeping them. The most action that I see being taken, is just singing free agents, D-Leaguers, or Chinese or Australian League players (Tracy McGrady save us in our darkest hour!!). I don't think any trades will be made this year, and as always rumors are rumors. Half the stuff you hear of teams "talking" is really not true. A lot of these NBA sources are just BS. I read rumors, but I never buy into them, because I know it's stupid. What to expect, is the Celtics signing a guard, it will most likely be a point guard, but Doc has said that they will take a ball handling guard who can play multiple positions (probably PG and SG). Also, expect the Celtics to sign a big. Don't count on Kenyon Martin, if Danny wanted him, he would've been singed back when Varnado and Joseph were released. I can see our guard coming from the D-League, most likely Shelvin Mack, who is actually is a decent player, and at this point we can't really be very picky with who we want. I see our big coming from either the Australian or the Chinese league. Whatever the case maybe, you can count on Pierce and KG still wearing 34 and 5, for the Boston Celtics on February 22nd 2013. Pierce and KG live and die, by the Celtics, and the Celtics live and die by Pierce and KG.
P.S. KG just said in an All Star interview, under no circumstance would he drop his no trade clause :)
