Mark L. Baer-US PRESSWIRE
With just over three hours left until the deadline, what Ainge predicted as an uneventful trade season could see Boston very active.
Latest word out of Boston: Celtics making deadline-day run at player they've pursued before ... Tyreke Evans
— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) February 21, 2013
Milwaukee, Phoenix emerging as frontrunners for Josh Smith deal, league sources tell Y! Sports. Boston still a "darkhorse," one source says.

With Fab Melo as the bait, Celtics looking to add perimeter scoring. Wizards' Jordan Crawford available @ on their radar

Obviously, these are all still in the rumor stage. You can't fault Ainge for the effort this morning (and I kinda wish the team played with this kind of energy last night). There's one option that I like that hasn't really been connected to the Celtics:
As @wojyahoonba reports, Pacers looking to move DJ. Same goes for Gerald Green n Tyler Hansbrough
— Mike Wells (@MikeWellsNBA) February 21, 2013
Would Danny consider flipping Jason Terry and/or Barbosa's expiring contract/Fab Melo for Green and Hansbrough? Indiana would get a good vet for the playoffs, Boston moves closer to a youth movement, and Hansbrough becomes a nightly Tommy points favorite.
UPDATE:
Kings Tyreke Evans and DeMarcus Cousins have been given the impression that they would not be dealt, a source said.

Alas, the nature of the trade deadline. Scratch Evans off the list.
