I liked this quote from Bill Simmons:
The Celts traded for Jordan Crawford to make Terry feel better about his bad shooting and even worse shot selection.
Which kind of sums up my thoughts on both these players. For me a jump shooting wing man with ropey defence is l someone you get from the D-League / Overseas / Waivers etc. not someone you spend resources (cap room or trades) to go get.
I am huge Danny A fan and his ability to find hidden gems (Sully, AB, Rondo) is unquestionable but I still think the Crawford trade was a mistake - we seem to have picked up little on offence while his defence is just hideous. I still don't get why we gave up length (as limited as Collins was/is) for another streaky jump why give up a precious commodity (Height) for a common asset (wing scorer)?
