Only $5 million of Pierce's $16M contract is guaranteed newt season. What does that mean? Could he sign for less than $16M and give team some cap space to sign a FA? With or without that happening, what are realistic possibilities for whom the Celtics might sign or trade for? I tried a trade on ESPN Trade Machine and it allowed trading Melo for Okafor and his $13M salary. How can that be? Thanks.
