Last Second Error or a Lack of Sustained Intensity ????

Stay connected for news and updates

Last night I watched with great disappointment as the Celts went down to a weaker (but younger) team.

This morning I'm listening to Mutt and Maloney talk about how KG missed his primary assignment allowing the NO tip in. Come on, these guys sound like part time fans judging the last few seconds as the reason for a loss.

If they had watched the entire game they could have picked out over a dozen mis-cues. The most telling was the missed defensive assignments by Terry and the lack of rotation by Bass.

This team must play a pressure game, shortening the floor and getting easy baskets. When they are pushed into a 1/2 court game things stall and the defensive pressure suffers.

Lets give credit to Bradley and Lee as the catalyst for keeping this team going forward. Doc's rotation especially in the final 5 minutes can NOT include Terry especially when it may be for offense (he ain't no Ray Allen).

Last night marked the 2nd loss in a row by 2 points or less after having a double digit lead. 48 minutes of pressure or at least 12 in the final quarter is mandatory for this team to win. GO CELTS!!

Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.
