Garnett's injury will not hold him out of Game 3 versus the Knicks.

Doc Rivers announced that Kevin Garnett suffered a hip pointer in last night's 87-71 loss during his conference call with the media this afternoon. Fortunately, he will not miss any time due to the injury. Garnett hurt his hip late in the fourth quarter as he rebounded a ball over Kenyon Martin. He came down grabbing his side but stayed in the game, finishing with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Here is a video of the injury:

Doc said that Garnett will practice on Thursday and is "good to go" on Friday night, when the Boston Celtics return to the TD Garden to face off against the Knicks in Game 3.
