If we are really to tank, we should trade both Green and Rondo

httsp://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=mxxqpmh

In this trade, Lakers get their point guard of the future in Rondo, Bass and Wallace will immediately become starters. For next year, they still have a ton of cap space with expiring contracts of Kobe, Blake, Meeks, Kaman and young. Even though Kobe said he will not take less, but with Rondo, he could change and take about 17mil for next year, so lakers cam make a run at either Lebron or Melo.

For the Pacers, they are contending for the title, Green and Lee can help them right away. Green will compete for the 6th man honores behind George, and Lee's defense and three pointers will help them as well. They need Lee to guard Wade, Allen, Wresbrook, or Rose in the playoffs. For a team that struggling to score, getting two young players while greatly improve their bench and offense should be a no brainer

For us, getting two big expiring contracts of Gasol and Granger is huge, couple that with Humphries and Bogans, we have more than enough to sign two max free agents to couple with Wiggins or Parker or whoever we pick. Nash is still an elite point guard with a reasonable contract, so I think this s a great deal

Let's be honest, our team is young so when the time they are ready to compete, Rondo and Green are well over their prime anyway. So why not just trade them and get rid of all the bad contracts to speed up the rebuilding process?
