Sign & Trade Gerald Wallace & Avery Bradley to MIL for Monta Ellis?

Before Celtics nation gets in an uproar over the idea of unloading a defensive wizard like AB ( and Wallace's albatross contract) for a guy with documented character issues like Ellis, consider the mediocrity Ellis has played in to fester ( bad GS teams & a Milwaukee team where Jennings cannibalizes his potential)

Even last season, Ellis was a 20ppg scorer/2 steals pg/6 dimes per game and that translated to his short playoff run vs. Miami (15ppg/2.5spg/5.5apg) ... if Rondo doesn't end up getting dealt, and the potential is there for 15+ assists per game between Rondo/Ellis if the new look C's will preach ball movement like their uptempo/analytical coach should, it would be a match made in heaven having a Rondo/Ellis/Green/Olynyk or Sully/Melo or Shav starting 5 ....

Second of all... AB is close to the end of his rookie contract, and has not shown the ability to run an offense as a point guard whatsoever, have the vision in the passing lanes a PG needs to be a solvent PG in this league (despite being only 22 and still growing/have the potential to be that.....being traded to a black hole like MIL/SAC/CHA etc ... makes it less likely for him to reach his potential & Danny Ainge to get top value for AB and his "defensive specialist" tag)

Wallace meanwhile, despite the contract fills a huge need for MIL at SF with Luc Richard Mbah Moute hardly a worldbeater as their starter ( and Wallace clearly not properly used correctly in a down year last season in NJ)

To close, having a second reliable scoring option to take the pressure off Jeff Green and distribute the offense will be a boon to the offense......

Celtics ARE a little too cash strapped to be true players in free agency.... but for a young, uptempo, unselfish ( and high scoring) offense, this makes a LOT of sense for Danny to consider

Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.
