Predict the Celtics record

USA TODAY Sports

And now for something completely different....

Yes, I know we've been through this a few times already, and it is still ridiculously early to make such predictions, but hey, why not one more time for kicks?  Chris Forsberg asked a bunch of us blogger types to come up with a prediction of wins and losses this year.

I went with a 30 - 52 record.  Why?  I don't know.  Thirty seemed like a nice round number and it was slightly better than the 29 wins ESPN had us pegged for.  Hopefully I'm wrong and they are much better than that.  And failing that, I hope we get lucky in the lottery.

Summer Forecast: A broken record? - Boston Celtics Blog - ESPN Boston

November might be a brutal stretch, especially if Rajon Rondo isn't ready to go (and looking Rajon Rondo-ish) at the start of the season. Also, the NBA has a tendency to eat their young, so expect growing pains. With all that said, Rondo and the "core 4" (Jeff Green, Avery Bradley, Jared Sullinger, Kelly Olynyk) should be good enough to win more than a few games and keep the team out of the basement.

So there's my blurb.  You can read more at the link above and you can look for more of these panel type things from ESPN in the coming weeks.

But enough about what we think.  Tell us what your prediction is - in the below poll and in the comments below if you are daring enough to go on record.
