Paul and Kevin's Last Gift to us

Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett: Final Game As Celtics - Incredible Comeback! (via Tom Hough)

Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett's last game played as Celtics. Game 6 against the Knicks. The Celtics started off the series with a 0-3 deficit. They had won games 4 and 5. At the beginning of the 4th quarter of game 6 it appeared that it was over, the Celtics were down by 22 points with roughly 8 minutes left in the game. Then it happened. The amazing 17-0 run brought them within 6 points. Their run ended 23-4, and at that point the Knicks went on to win the game. This is truly an amazing video and I'm glad Paul and Kevin gave us one last spectacular performance, still showing Boston that they would still play their guts out for their team even when down 22 points. I'm gonna miss these guys, a whole heck of a lot. Best of luck in Brooklyn to the both of you, and go get yourselves a second ring together.

I think KG will retire after this season, but maybe just maybe, Paul will come back to the Celtics next offseason, when his contract expires. We owe it to Paul. He deserves to retire as a Celtic, and to play his last NBA games as a Celtic. Whether or whether not that happens, I'll cherish the moment when #34 and #5 and raised to the rafters.
