Hayward for Green

Everyone had differing views on Jeff Green and his value to the Celtics going forward. He has all the ability in the world but is very inconsistent. We will soon find out how he fits along side Rondo and if he is a key part to the celtics future or not. I really think he could be great with Rondo, but he's not the player we need at this stage of our rebuild. Packaging him off while his value is high seems like something Ainge Would explore and as a result of mr playing around with trade machine that we should trade Bass Green and Wallace as well as the Nets or Hawks first round pick to Utah for Hayward and the expiring Contracts of Jefferson and Biedrins.

This trade would allow the Celtics to clear up their cap space of a horrible contract in Wallace for the near future and would give the team a player in Hayward that Stevens knows from College. Even if Hayward got a ridiculous offer in free agency you could simply let him go and use the teams freedom of cap space to attract a top player to a team with a great young core of Rondo, Bradley, Sullly and what looks like a top 2014 pick. Free Agents such as Carmelo Anthony could be in the mix as well as a top centre.

of course all of this is hypothetical and this trade probably won't happen it would benefit the Celtics going forwad.
