Rajon Rondo out, Vander Blue in.

Robert Mayer-USA TODAY Sports

Team captain Rajon Rondo will sit out tonight's game against the Wizards, after playing 26 minutes in yesterdays narrow loss against the vaunted Miami Heat.

This shouldn't come as a surprise, as we've been told before that he'd be sitting out back-to-backs in an effort to restrict his playing time. Rehabbing after an ACL surgery obviously isn't something to be taken lightly, as so many before him have already proven.

With Jerryd Bayless, Avery Bradley and Rajon Rondo out, it will be interesting to see what coach Stevens will throw at John Wall to hold him down. I'm personally hoping he'll bring the kitchen sink.

Since tonight should see the debut of 21 year old shooting guard Vander Blue, we should be getting a good look at what he'll be bringing to the table, so make sure you watch the game!
