I'd appreciate responses to this question: can we build the future on BOTH Sully and Olynyk?
Both are power forwards. Both are talented but also limited by size: Sully being short and KO lacking wingspan and leaping. I think both can be productive starters on pretty good teams. But, both require compensations because of their limitations.
On the same team attempt to build, however, aren't they in each other's way? Neither can really play the center position, and we clearly need a legit post man. Neither can play the 3 (I don't think?).
In my view, Danny needs to pick one of these guys and trade the other to shore up our weak areas, especially center.
Personally, I'd value Sully over KO. Sully can be a monster rebounder for a decade. I am not sure how good KO can really be.
Well, what do you folks think? Can we really afford both?
