This year's draft class (2014) has gone from hyped, to panned as overrated, and now it seems like we're settling into a "very good but not world changing" equilibrium. That whole process started back when Wiggins, Parker, and Randle signed with their colleges (Embiid was a relative unknown on the National scene). We aren't even done with this season, never mind the lottery, but we are starting to hear a few rumblings about NEXT year's class.
At least one scout is pretty high on the freshman entering the college ranks this year (probably for a one-and-done season).

"I don't know if it's as good as last year, but it's underrated," one NBA scout said. "I don't think it's that big of a drop off. Last year there were five or seven players like, 'Wow.' There are probably four or five this year, and that's still pretty impressive."
Draft Express currently has 11 of the top 13 draft picks in next years' draft as incoming freshmen. The top two are centers (Jahil Okafor and Myles Turner) so there could be a fun rivalry next year between those two.
The Celtics will have two picks in next years' draft. Their own and the one coming from the Clippers as part of the Doc Rivers deal. The Clippers' pick is most likely going to be very low in the first round. Where will the Celtics pick be? It is way to early to tell, but I'm going to need therapy if it is in the high lottery again.
Makes no sense trying to figure out the details for next year when we don't even know the details for this year yet. However, it is interesting to look ahead to next year and start tracking some of these kids throughout the year.
