If Wolves Trade KLove they will either go total rebuild or try and trade for players/picks that have combined affect of trying to replace the value of Love in the near term. If they go the latter route then Celts can offer promising young players along with veteran leadership.
For Rebuild: #6 & #17 in this draft and #1 picks in upcoming drafts, promising PF (Sully) to replace Love, immediate salary cap relief (i.e. Bogans) and expiring contracts next year (i.e. Anthony, Bass), and filler pieces.
For Maximum Short-Term Value: Sullinger, Olynyk, Green, Bradley (S&T), Bass, #6 (i.e. Gordon) & #17 (i.e. Warren) in this draft, and take undesirable contracts to free up their cap to sign other free agents (i.e. include Martin in deal). Wolves could even add a third team to package some of the players/picks for a higher value player.
I am not proposing we give all these assets in either deal - just that Celts have loads of assets if it wants to secure KLove (and Martin). Will still have TPE and draft picks for Asik and another quality free agent (i.e. small forward), and first round future pick to offload Wallace. It's not a bad thing to include as many of our average players in trade packages since it frees up our salary cap. Probably need to give Wolves Sully but would like to keep Olynyk.
