Ford: Saric to sign in Turkey, mocked at #17 to Celtics

Jamie Squire

According to ESPN's Chad Ford, Dario Saric will sign with Anadolu Efes for two years with a third year player option and could potentially fall to Boston at #17. He's also predicting Joel Embiid's injury will have the former #1 falling to the Celtics at #6.

Here's the video link to Ford's latest mock draft.  Disregard Walter Tavares to the Celtics at #6.  It's apparently a typo.   Our resident draft expert, Kevin O'Connor, loves this:

I totally agree.  If Love is a no-go, the rebuild will be prolonged.  Embiid's surgery is expected to keep him out 4-6 months and Saric's new contract could potentially keep him out of the NBA until 2016-2017.  It's not exactly news that win-now fans want to hear, but getting two guys that could have gone #1 and top-ten in the lottery respectively would be an absolute steal this off season and a worthy consolation prize in the Kevin Love sweepstakes.
