Melo/Love trade rumor might be almost dead by now

With the further news of Lebron James opting out as a free agent. Leaving himself open for a variety of teams to claim him. The probability of Boston nailing Lebron James is now the same probability Carmelo or Love come to Boston in a package deal. This probability is relatively a near swing and a miss. Sure, options have been set on the table for long strenuous discussion. Get Rondo, Green, and/or 1st round draft pick to draw in Kevin Love to form a coincided Big 3 or Big 4. All of that hasn't been pursued nor heavily talked about, leaving these trade rumors hanging by a small thread, waiting to be put back together.

Danny Ainge and the front office might be still waiting to spark moves after the NBA Draft is completed Thursday Night. Whether or not any interest can be drawn from the draft has yet to be determined. Rondo and Green are the only "trendy" names being drawn in Melo and Love's trade arsenal to team up. It will take much more than waving the names of Brandon Bass, Avery Bradley, or even Kris Humphries in front of the Knicks and Timberwolves faces. Cap space and how much one of them will cost is also a factor that is decreasing the value of any star trade even more.

Of course Boston is a hot city to play for with the history behind it can reel in any break through player. But with the means of building around, Kevin Love and Carmelo Anthony are probably finished comprehending the term of "rebuild". Just ask the patient Kevin Love to see how much patience is left from rotting in Minnesota. Heck it happened to Kevin Garnet. Many ideas are still left to be concluded, but time is of the essence here. Time has run dry to make any sort of move. The "package deal" ship has set sail a long time ago.

What's left is the hashing of who to get in the draft in a few days. Anthony has for sure set for greener pastures, while Kevin Love you can label as "INCONCLUSIVE". Whatever happens trade rumors have become beaten to the pulp on every possible issue shown, this should in fact be put aside for later or just maybe halted completely.
