Did the Celtics make themselves better?

When you look at the draft or trades, the bottom line question is always, "Did we get better?" All last year the consensus was that the Celtics needed a defensive minded center (aka rim protector) and a dynamic scorer who could score within the system but also create his own shot and demand double teams when he had to. Do these draft picks address those needs? I don't think so. Does this mean the draft was a bust? If no other moves are made, then yes.

This draft did not address the two biggest needs the Celtics have. This draft is about collecting assets, not building a roster. It's about replacing Bradley (who they probably won't resign) and improving their comfort zone in using Rondo in a trade to get players they really need. I don't know what - if any - deals are out there, but without one, this team is lottery bound again. Sigh.
