From the Globe: How the Isaiah Trade went down

This is an interesting little article from the Boston Globe on what went on in Ainge's office during the draft deadline. Of note is how the other dominoes had to fall first in order for a deal with the Suns to go through. If not, then the draft deadline would have just netted us Jerebko and Datome. Luckily for us, things worked out the way they did.

Also interesting and a little funny was what the staff did afterward:

At about 10:30 p.m., Ainge gathered his staff in his office and thanked everyone for their diligence during a draining week. Then they sat and ate pizza and watched college basketball.

"Getting ready for the draft," Ainge said with a chuckle.
