We should play Jaylen Brown more

4, 6, 9, 4, 4

That's the minutes Jaylen Brown played in last 5 games. The number of shots he took in this period is 9. This is a serious problem. We shouldn't treat or train our 3rd overall pick rookie like this. Brown has not yet reached the level of Crowder or even JJ, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't play him.

To the development of a young player, it is important to give some playing time and specific role. Brown has strength on slashing and penetrating at the top, but Stevens is using him like a spot-up shooter. Take some time off from Crowder and Jerebko, and make this kid can catch the ball at the top. I'm sure this kid has an ability to create some buckets when IT is in the bench.

Celtics are a win-now team but that cannot be an excuse. When Steve Kerr first became a head coach of GSW, he started Barnes over Iguodala and gave him an appropriate role, the small ball 4. That roster change was one of the factors that led GSW to the finals. Just like GSW did, we have to give Brown some PT for our future .
