Celtics will sign Terrence Williams for rest of season and conditionally for 2013-'14, league source tells Y! Sports.

Good move by Doc and Danny. Doc talked glowingly yesterday about how TWill's point guard skills, so it'll be nice to actually have a back up behind Rondo if Williams returns next season.
After receiving his letter of clearance, Shavlik Randolph has signed a 10-day contract with the Boston Celtics, his agent tells RealGM.
— Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) March 1, 2013
Randolph is a basketball journeyman, playing for three different NBA teams with stops in Puerto Rico and China. Most recently, he's been killing it in the CBA averaging 32 points and almost 15 rebounds. After apparently losing out on Lou Amundson last night, Doc and Danny went with Shavlik. With good size at 6'10, he's another hungry young athlete that they hope to plug into the lineup ASAP.
The Celtics officially announced the signing of forward D.J. White to a 10-day contract today.
I am sure I am late to this but I must say the foul by Garnett up 3 with 4.2 was one of the smartest NBA plays I have ever seen

I didn't realise what a great play this was until the replay. That's just basketball IQ and experience..
Celtics Stuff Live returns tonight at 8 pm for a Blazers pre-game show on Red's Army
#celticstalk: D.J White is with the #Celtics here in Portland, but his clearance paperwork from China has yet to arrive.

Sounds like it is just a formality before he's signed.
Hearing that Celtics have former Charlotte big man D.J. White in their sights for 10-day deal now that White's season in China is over
— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) February 22, 2013
After trading Jason Collins yesterday, Boston is left with a big hole in the back up center position with only Fab Melo to fill the void. ESPN's Marc Stein is reporting that the Celtics are looking at former Hoosier/Bobcat/Thunder D.J. White for a 10-day tryout. For what it's worth, White tore up the CBA, averaging almost 22 and 10 overseas. By comparison, newly signed Terrence Williams was a 13/3/4 threat in China.
“@celticsblog: the two best moments of having Jason Collins on your team are the day you sign him and the day you trade him. That's BS
— Brian Scalabrine (@Scalabrine) February 21, 2013
The first part of that tweet is him quoting me. The "that's BS" is Scal calling me out. I deserved it. I was having some fun at Collins' expense, but the guy was solid for us and a hard worker. Thanks for reading Scal.
Boston's signing of Terrence Williams has not ended their pursuit of a trade for a guard. Charlotte's Gerald Henderson is one possibility.
— Ken Berger (@KBergCBS) February 20, 2013
Henderson would be a nice pick up, but the price tag might be a little high considering the financial constraints the Celtics are in. A first round draft pick, Fab Melo, and the expiring contract of Leandro Barbosa might do it. Henderson becomes a restricted free agent this summer and probably will command more than his qualifying offer, so is Fab and a fist worth the rental?
Agent for Rajon Rondo, Bill Duffy, tells USAT that Boston GM Danny Ainge assured him today the Celtics PG won't be traded. Story to come.
— Sam Amick (@sam_amick) February 20, 2013
This report flies in the face of Chris Broussard's claim that #9 has been made available in the "right deal," but it's possible that after some poking around on Danny's part, Ainge didn't find anything he liked and called Duffy this morning to ease any concerns that they were moving the franchise point guard.
