CLNS Media Remembers Tommy Heinsohn Montage: Celtics Legend Dies at 86
I cooked up the meanest Celtics edit I could. Let me know what you think.
The 2017-18 Boston Celtics season kicks off tomorrow, and what better way to start it off than a highlight promo of Celtics' newest guard Kyrie Irving?

The first pick in the first NBA draft (then called the BBA for Basketball Association of America) became a legendary coach.
He's second in the Big Ten in scoring, first in blocks, and shoots over 44% from beyond the arc. He's not a freakish athlete, but he's a hard-nosed player that would work well in Coach Stevens' scheme. It's not like the Celtics haven't had success with a savvy 6'9 guy from a humble Midwestern town: http://bit.ly/1Kq2TED
From the UK vs. UNC alumni game tonight. That three point shot is smooth. I would love to see Boogie traded to the Celtics at the trade deadline. Or before, either way. I can dream right?
Check out Jeff's great tribute to Walker if you haven't already. This game is a great example of the spryer, more mobile version of Antoine that Jeff talked about. It's a really impressive performance – he even scores with ease with 4 guys all over him at one point. But what's really impressive to me is that only 2/49 points were free throws.
It doesn't look fun to play against Bill Russell in the 1960's.
