In Tony Allen's first start of the season he had four steals and the man he spent much of the night checking, Michael Redd, scored seven points. Those are the facts. But how good can Allen be? He put up huge numbers for a stretch last season on a losing team. But could he even be the second best player on a winning team? Regardless, the Celtics will benefit if Allen's defense and ability to get to the rack continue to return to form.
