Game #54 - Open Game Thread: Boston Celtics @ Portland Trailblazers

The Trailblazers score 95.2 points per game. They give up 95.7. That helps explain their current record - 29-26. They're small and young but dangerous nevertheless. Go Celtics and don't forget to check out Blazers Edge.

Update [2008-2-24 18:59:55 by Jim]: This is embarrassing. Thankfully the C's are showing signs of life. And yes Scot Pollard is not on the court. And here's another Blazers blog to check out.

Box Out
Joel Pryzbilla. That would be nice. Meanwhile, Scot Pollar looks awful.

Tired???
I think the guys are both tired and a little over confident.  But mostly tired, we're giving up all of the hustle points....We need to spend some of those practices doing some shooting drills, we're OUT OF SYNC!!! (Dont let me fool you with the even tone of my analysis.  I threw the remote at the screen when T Allen passed that ball to LaFrentz..AHHHH

They were able to turn it on
They started to click towards the end of the first half. On defense they closed out on shooters and the ball movement improved on offense. Of course Paul Pierce in particular and the three point shooting in general were red hot. That was a good win because they took care of business. And Tony Allen did a windmill. However, he did look like the bad Tony Allen for a stretch there.
