The Boston Celtics are looking to take the city of Boston on their backs and go deep into the playoffs.

"That’s my first priority, just going into surgery sometime," Allen said. "If I could do it tomorrow, I would do it tomorrow. That’s probably my main concern right now, taking care of that." - He wasn't kidding. Good to see it's getting taken care of immediately.
I'm sad that we lost to the Heat, but rest assured, they will come back strong. I hope they do.
Whats up Celtics fans? Remember me? I'm a writer/illustrator over at Bright Side of the Sun and am currently doing a project where I am doing 30 illustrations (1 player from each of the 30 NBA teams) over 30 days. Day 5 features your own Ray Allen (or maybe his mom with a shaved head...still not sure) and I thought I'd share it with you. Feel free to visit and check out this and more as well as follow the project. Comments are welcome and appreciated. -Dustin
Practice wrapped up today in Waltham, and the only pieces of news to come out of it was that Shaq will miss at least tomorrow's game because his hip is "locked up" -- possibly one or two games on the road trip, and Daniels is a 50-50 chance tomorrow because of a family issue. Daniels missing practice has nothing to do with previously sprained ankle.

"This team has tanked in each of the last two Januarys (and the tanking extended until the playoffs last season), so let’s not get ahead of ourselves. But with one-fourth of the season gone, Boston is the team to beat, and KG’s health is a major reason why." - Zach Lowe, on The Point Forward
