According to Chad Ford, the Bucks are preparing to offer Etan Thomas 6 years for between $37 and $39 Million - approximately the full mid-level Exception. If the Celtics want to get in on this, they would have to act fast. If he signs the offer sheet, the C's would be out of the mix and the Wizards would have till July 29 to match.
In other news, the Hawks apparently are offering max dollars to Kenyon Martin. If he really wants to follow the money, he'll have to play for the Hawks. Will the Nets call his bluff and let him walk? Or will they get tied up for the max? Either way, I'm happy it puts our division rivals in a tight spot.
