If the Celtics can maintain enough composure to secure the 3 spot, the opponent will be whomever lands in the 6th spot out of a list of 4 or 5 teams. Chicago, Washington, Indiana, Cleveland, and maybe Philly (or even New Jersey) could all land there in the end. Tonight, this group of teams will get tangled up and when the dust settles, the picture could be much clearer, or perhaps much muddier.
Cleveland plays Philly and Washington plays Indiana. Someone has to win these games and someone has to lose. If Philly and Indiana win, then its back to square one and anything can happen. If they both lose, then we can start focusing on the Chicago, Washington, Indy trio and let the Sixers worry about holding off the Nets for the 8th spot.
Should be a fun night, and we aren't even playing!
