A few days ago I linked to Dime Magazine solely because of the brilliant video clip of Kevin Garnett talking about acting and wrestling. First of all how intense is Kevin Garnett? There should be a show where he goes around doing other people's jobs just to show how he can take things to a whole other level. Wouldn't he be the greatest high school teacher of all time? No one would mess with him, which is half the battle, and students would hang on his every word. "People told me the Articles of Confederation were a failure because the federal government had no real power. I don't know about that. But I do know the states had to unite or die. And the Constitution..."
However, KG's light hearted walk down wrestling's memory lane is kid stuff in comparison to Rasheed Wallace's latest claims about the NBA's inegrity.
Wallace, given his feuds with referees over the years, has to be loving the fall out from the Tim Donaghy scandal more than anyone. Whether the former North Carolina star is right or wrong the current environment does allow him to take his shots.
Finally, this reminds me of a post I made back in August about the NBA's priorities. Let's just say I was not sure that competition was at the top of the list. Although as reader Fly Gerald Fly recently pointed out via Chuck Klosterman, stories about the imminent demise of the NBA have been around forever.
