I guess fans aren't the only ones chomping at the bit to get the games started.
With the NBA season starting last night, what seemed like a good idea when the schedules first came out - the Celtics starting two days later than some teams - given a preseason trip to Europe, now has them chomping at the bit.
According to Celtics coach Doc Rivers: "You do want to get it on. It’s time."
"It’s tough actually," said Rivers. "I actually liked it on the schedule. I kind of thought it was great. The problem is the players see the games too. You can clearly see in the practices that they’re ready to play. They see everyone else playing and are almost like: ‘Why do we have to wait? Why are we getting punished?’"
