The word has been out for some time now, but the man wanted to make sure there were no misunderstandings: Marcus Camby loves to D up.
Camby hit yet another personal defensive milestone last night, as he recorded a triple-double with 10 points, 11 rebounds and 10 blocks
Since the beginning of last season (and perhaps before as well), Camby has been a one-man wrecking crew defensively. He is the rock of a Denver team that currently sits at second in all of basketball in defensive efficiency. His performance last night was just one more feather in his cap. In an era in which playing tough defense is largely a lost art, Camby is a refreshing figure. Keep it up, Marcus!

Some other fun facts from last night's 125-105 victory for the Nuggets over the Bucks:
Mo Williams shot 12-for-24 from the field, but the Nugs managed to hold the rest of the Milwaukee starters -- who included Bobby Simmons (1-for-7), Yi Jianlian (2-for-11), Andrew Bogut (2-for-8) and Michael Redd (1-for-8) -- to a combined 6-for-34 from the field. Well done, D.
On the other side, Melo shot 11-for-16 for 29 points, and AI went 11-for-21 en route to 24 points for Denver. The Nugs were plus-11 on the boards and had three players (AI, Chucky Atkins, Anthony Carter) dish out six assists apiece. An excellent display of team basketball from top to bottom.
