Jerry West is done trying to right the ship in Memphis. You gotta figure that job will be pretty attractive to a rising GM wanting a shot at drafting Oden or Durant and building around Pau Gasol (or a chance to trade him). Then again, that is just the kind of job Rick Pitino thought he was getting into 10 years ago.Â
