- Welcome to the Major Leagues Alex Gordon. He went 1-11 in his first 3 game series and I saw him boot a ball today. Apparently off speed pitches are Gordon's enemy.
- My old site (Celtics Bandwagon) was in danger of becoming a Gilbert Arenas love fest until 2 things happened:
- He wore a boxing robe to the Wizards' home opener and torched the C's.
- Al Jefferson emerged as Al Jefferson.
Yet I have appreciated Arenas' antics throughout the season. So it is unfortunate that he will miss the playoffs. The Eastern Conference just got a little weaker, which did not seem possible. And what the hell is Arenas going to do with his time?
- The die hard Yankees fan in my fantasy baseball league has Daisuke Matsuzaka on his squad. Bold move. Could drive him crazy.
- You will never be able to convince me that Michael Johnson, of gold shoes, Olympic medals, and freakish speed fame, drinks Coors Light. I'm not buying it.
- I don't want to jinx it so I should really just remain quiet. But I can't help it. I caught a NESN commercial about the Red Sox and their lack of a language barrier. Wily Mo Pena has some Delonte West potential. There I said it.
- NESN brought Tina Cervasio back. Sweet.
