Remember his 32-20 game against them a month ago?
Big Al was just warming up.
Back in December, Jefferson propelled the Wolves to a 97-90 victory over Phoenix, which was followed by a 20-point beatdown at the hands of the Suns the next time the two teams met.
Last night, it was back to business as usual for Big Al. Lots of scoring, little defense.
Big Al and the Wolves stomped past the Suns, 117-107, leading marching out to a 20-point lead at one point. Jefferson led the way with 15-for-29 shooting, 39 points and 15 rebounds. The Suns just can't stop him!
Of course, it's probably worth noting that the Suns-Wolves rivalry is growing as a match-up of great offensive interior players who do nothing on the other end. Amare Stoudemire didn't have a terrible night himself, going for 33 points on 14-for-16 shooting. Worth noting that he also happened to be Jefferson's man, and 8 of Big Al's 15 boards came on the offensive end.
But ultimately, Al and his Wolves came out on top, and the moral stands: Big Al owns the Suns!
