After a two-game skid, in which the Celtics lost on back-to-back nights in both LA and Oakland, the "sky is falling" discussion was shown the door with a 45-point stomping in Sacramento on Sunday night.

To close out the year 2008, the Celtics will try to begin a new winning streak tonight at the Rose Garden, against the up-and-coming Portland Trail Blazers. Boston's road to victory may come a tad smoother than the average Blazer matchup, however, as both Brandon Roy (hamstring) and Greg Oden (ankle) are labeled game time decisions.

Regardless, this team does not hand victories to visitors very often. From the start of last season to now, the Blazers hold an accumulative 39-16 record at home, and currently stand as this season's sixth-best team in their own building (11-3). There are no freebies at the Rose Garden.

With that said, let's close out this glorious year on a high note.
