A Little Rest Did A Lot Of Good

The All Star break may have been just what the doctor ordered (via Bulpett):

DENVER — Kevin Garnett looks good to go for the Celtics tomorrow night. He just finished a full workout with the club here at the Denver Athletic Club and reported no setbacks from the abdominal strain that’s kept him out the last nine games.

In addition, Glen Davis (quad strain), Kendrick Perkins (left shoulder strain) and Scot Pollard (sore left ankle) are also looking ready to play against the Nuggets.

Brian Scalabrine (groin strain) worked out here and hopes to be back playing by Friday’s game in Phoenix.

The lone casualty today was Doc Rivers, who left practice and returned to the hotel because of the flu.
