First Wally Szczerbiak and Delonte West showed up as members of the work in progress Cleveland Cavaliers. And now the news out of Minnesota is that the Timberwolves have bought out Theo Ratliff's contract. Fair enough. They are rebuilding. But the plot thickens, as reports surface that Ratliff is headed to Detroit. I'm shocked by the fact that Ratliff is only 34. He strikes me as a Jimmy Key type figure. Regardless does he have anything left? I saw him play live during the 06' preseason and thought his career was over. And though he grabbed 6 rebounds in his most recent appearance, it was only his 10th game all season. Yes he is a high character guy whose contract helped bring Kevin Garnett to Boston. But he is definitely running with the enemy now.
