Poor Big Al can't catch a break. First he goes from losing franchise to losing franchise and now this:
Timberwolves forward Al Jefferson has suffered a mild sprain of the medial collateral ligament in his right knee, the team said today. An MRI exam taken yesterday confirmed the injury. Jefferson is expected to be sidelined for up to three weeks, but should be ready by the start of the season.
Well, don't cry too much for our dear old friend. I'm sure he'll be just fine. And besides, he did get paid in Minnesota. And he'll probably end up an All Star in Minnesota. So it's all good.
