The Celtics were the last team to host a playoff game last season, as they won the NBA title against the Lakers in Boston, and they will likely be the first team to play at home this postseason. They will meet the seventh-place Eastern team (Chicago or Philadelphia) at either 12:30 or 1 p.m. Saturday and play host to Game 2 Monday, according to a league source. The league is awaiting results of tomorrow's season-ending contests to announce the schedule.
Since the Sixers play the Celtics and Cavs (at Clev.) in the final two games and the Bulls already have a one game lead on them, I'm guessing we'll be seeing a preview of our first round matchup tonight.
